Well I'm excited about this movie because I'm a brazilian person and the director is too.Bruno Barreto is certainly very well known here in Brazil but not in the USA.A view from the top is his first big movie!And it is plenty of great actors and actresses.I like Gwinneth very much she's very pretty and a good actriz.The rest of the cast is excelent too.Candice Bergan,Nike Myers(although he makes only a cameo),Christina Applegate,Kelly Preston...
But I'd like to have informations about this motion picture which is aground.There aren't trailers,pictures,or any information about it!

Yesterday I saw the trailer of View from the top , it seems to be very funny and also a critic to the society that it is showed in a caricatual way.I think the movie is a Legally Blonde type of comedy.The blonde is the major character who tries to succed on her carrear.Gwineth Paltrow is just beautiful as always,so as Christina Aplegate and Kelly Preston.Mike Myers is just hilarious in his cameo as a flight attendent instructor.
Go and watch the trailer I'll wait for the answers,if there will be!

I'm brazilian too and I hope this movie is a huge success. I saw the trailer and it looks very good. It seems to be the kind of movie that makes you leave the theater with a smile in your face.

mike meyers as a cameo?? isnt a cameo a very short role? i saw the trailer a few days ago and he seemed to be the main character..besides paltrow..what u gotta say about that?

It's not a cameo. He's one of the costars of the movie, and appears throughout it.

It is confirmed by Miramax that Mike Myers will only be in a cameo.I'ts sad that the movie has a huge talented cast and most of them will be only playing short scenes.Only Paltrow,Preston and Apllegate have the major roles.I can't understand why Barreto postponed so much this movie.Usually this action shows that the film isn't very good.The new scene showned at the official web site is a disaster,bad comedy arriving!!!!

Marcello: Your information is wrong. Just saw the movie: Mike Myers is one of the movie's co-stars. It is not just a cameo.

I saw the movie too, Mike Myers appears quite a lot. Kelly Preston and Rob Lowe are cameos. And the movie is GREAT!! Lots of fun really!

Sorry,guys, I had a wrong information from a bad website I visited.I'm really disapointed ,the critics are destroying the movie!I live in Brazil, so I don't have access to the Film.Is it so bad like everybody is saying?
