I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago. It was a simple romantic comedy...nothing to it. For those who like a laugh and have nothing better to do on a weekend: go see it. However, if you're one of those people who hate stupid movies with dorky endings then don't bother. I thought it was cute. I probably won't see it again. But it is a fun way to spend a rainy Saturday.
Besides..anything's got to be better than the Core =)
When I went to my video rental place There was the movie View From The Top, I rent it I thought to myself it gonna suck but when I watch it It was a good movie I love Gweneth in this role playing a simple girl who fellow her dream and I also love Candice Bergan as Sally. I was surprise she didn't play a bichty role like Sweet home alabama and Miss Continaly(i'm not a good speller). My favorite part when she cover Donna (Gweneth) job and being a flight attendant again.
Now I want this DVD to own :)
Hell no, i thought the core was great
shareI love goofy comedy movies and even a good romantic comedy but this movie doesn't fall into either role because it's not funny. Don't get me wrong - I loved most of the people working in this movie. Christina Applegate, Mike Myers and Gwenneth Paltrow - love them all and saw this movie because of the three of them. Figured I couldn't miss. But the entire thing just felt hollow and meaningless. The funniest bit was from the trailer: "Asses the window..."
I felt like everyone involved in this was just too big for the roles provided.
I hate to think that they wasted their time on this - and that I wasted my money on a ticket.
