Where did Kelly Preston go???
I was watching this movie on TV and i left the room for about 15 mins and i came back and she was gone and never talked about again what happen to her???

Just to let you folks know... There was an additional scene later in the film wherein Kelly Preston shows up at the Royalty Airlines graduation to congrtatulate her old friends. That's when we find out that Kelly Preston married Rob Lowe's pilot character. It was supposed to be a warm reunion type scene that showed a positive outcome of Kelly's character's life, but for some stupid reason, it was deleted.
If you watch the making-of featurette on the DVD, you will see them shooting the above scene.
Thanks for the info, ChrisFrost. I felt sure that Kelly would reappear toward the end and was sorely disappointed when she didn't. That was a dumb move on the director's part to cut that scene. We are left thinking that her character just went back to where she came from and lived out a miserable existence. I thought the movie was sorta cute- Alot better than I thought it would be but I hated the way they just shut Kelly's character out with no resolution.
shareMaybe they were affraid Kelly was stealing the show from Gwyneth and Christina and was only suppose to be a supporting role. But then some ads and publicity before the release showed Kelly more than Christina probably to get away from the loser film she did with Cameron Diaz. I thought it was funny having Gwyn with padded push up bras the whole time just to try to compete with Kelly's natual curves.
shareI can't believe Kelly would even take such a small part. She's a family oriented person and that's the only excuse I can think of as to why she doesn't appear in more films. I can see if they wanted to minimize her role, but damn, they could have at least let us think something good was waiting for her! Is it me or does Christina Applegate look really aged these days? I mean, Kelly is older than she is and looks a hell of alot better. Christina just looks really wrinkled, or dry skinned. Like people who smoke alot tend to look as they get older.
