I just thought it was a little weird that Sherrie still stayed best friends with Donna even though Donna stole Ted... just seems a little odd to me.

Sherrie was dating Ted's best friend, who I don't think is ever shown. So there was no competition between the ladies. Remember Ted's introductory scene where he burst into the room with a flare gun, scaring Gwyneth's character? Ted thought it was his friend (Sherrie's boyfriend) in the room.
shareYeah, sherrie was dating Herb- that's whose boat the 3 girls were staying on, and that's who Ted was looking for when he ran into donna. they deleted out a scene towards the end of the movie when they see sherrie again who announces that Herb finally proposed...i think they should've kept it in the movie; it just seems wrong that we don't get to see sherrie in the second half.
