Mike Myers' cock eye

I wonder if Mike Myers had a contact lens in his eye to make it look cocked like it was? Anyone know? I laffed and laffed at him but at times I felt like I was going to get a headache if I looked at his cocked eye much longer! LOL. I hope it was a contact because surely that's not healthy for the eyeball. UGH.

I think it was a contact.

yeah, i'm sure it was a contact. there was one close-up scene where you can clearly see it.

contacts. The colors didn't even match and you could see a white section that covered his pupil.

I have the same problem, but not as severe. From time to time, usually in the morning, and it's only for about a minute or so, my right eye tilts inward automatically and there's nothing I can do about it. Actually, I basically only use my left eye. I can see with both eyes fine, I have 20/20 vision, but I don't really need my right eye. It's hard to explain without showing it to people. But I can relate to Mike's character. It's also like Eugene Levy in Waiting for Guffman.

It's possible that it was real. I can make either of my eyes do that, but it takes concentration and it sort of hurts after a while. I don't see how he could have kept it up for so long if he didn't use a contact, but I know it's possible to make your eyes do that.

Indeed, I have a friend who does it to freak people out, but gets headaches afterwards...

I found it most annoying and would look away when he came on screen.

Did you all miss the fact that he said it was called Strabissmus? It's not something you can fake or make happen! I have Srabissmuss and let me tell you I was thouroughly put out that it was implied that people with Strabissmuss can't do anything! That's absurd! If you must know it's a condition (genetic) you're born with and with glasses I have better then 20/20 vision! The muscle that holds the eye straight is not fully developed when I was born so my eye turns in...people think I'm just near-sighted and I can wear contacts too. You know one in three people have a form of Strabissmuss? lazy eye. Also, if he had left it untreated for THAT long he would be blind in that eye. I have had glasses since I was 11 months for that reason.
