I haven't flown in over 15 years so I don't remember. It would however seem counter productive as the flight attendants spend most of the flight on their feet.
First thing tomorrow I'll let the house fill up with gas, and light a match.
A LOT of professional women are expected to wear high heels even if they're "on their feet" all day.

Some airlines have rules where heels are required outside the plane, but the FA can change into flats for the flight, probably for safety reasons.
