I don't know I never kissed him in real life.
What do you make of that response?

according to Gale they did and still do have a close relationship. That being said unless they were instructed to make each kiss lousy. A kiss is a kiss.
In my option they kissed so much in the series that it had to become natural after a while. Also I can't see him kissing so amazingly on screen and not know how to kiss in real life.
