I definitely and genuinely believe that Looking is worth watching. It may lack the graphic and explicit flesh on flesh nudity laden sex scenes of QaF but in place of them it has a wonderful dialogue and chemistry between the actors.

And Richie / Raul Castillo is dreamy.

Plus you get to see Russell Tovey's glorious glutes.

I don't think that nudity or sex could save it. Although better writing and some chemistry might have done it some good. Towards the end of the run it became a little bit better and in my opinion Queer as Folk didn't need any nudity to be the masterpiece I found it to be.

I just saw the movie looking 2016 and it was ok. They could have done so much better as they should have done in the series.

I really liked it. But then again, the gorgeous Jonathan Groff can do no wrong in my book!

Seriously, though, I'm a straight woman, so don't have the gay male perspective, but I found the friendships portrayed in a very real way (especially Doris and Dom), the characters realistically flawed, and I thought it was very well done.

I liked the angst between Groff and Russell Tovey's character. The movie gave good closure to their relationship, although I never thought that Kevin was supposedly so in love with Patrick throughout their time together. He was a cheater and liar, imo.
