Is Ted the only decent male on the show?

I mean ffs the guy took care of Blake after he left Ted to die in a coma. If that happened to me I wouldn't have helped Blake at all would have left him like he left Ted to die.

Ted was and is my favourite character.

Blake called an ambulance, if I remember correctly.

I did like Blake and Ted together as a couple.

ITA; a great couple! Too bad Ted is cursed to screw up anything he's got going for him! Loved Blake the most who did call an ambulance in both the N. Am. and British versions!

I know there are quite a few people who don't like Michael, but that aside, he is decent. He isn't devious or a liar. Almost always helpful when he sees a need.

Actually, the most decent male on the show is Emmett. Despite his extreme swishiness he displays a greater maturity and moral compass than all of the other jerks put together. Ted is a self pitying basket case, Michael is an arrested adolescent (although he does mature after becoming a parent), Justine is a cocky little twerp, Ben is inexplicably wrapped up with that garbage Hunter, and Brian...well, Brian is the worst thing this side of Adolf Hitler.

I have to agree with this. While he had his issues, he was the most level headed of them all.

Ted was underused. That is when he wasn't the show's punching bag.

Now watching the show as a grown man, I appreciate the character of Ted more. He's the average man, he's a nice guy but sometimes life doesn't go his way. Yet you can root for him and picture yourself in him. At least I have in one or two occasions…

He's probably the most average person on the show.
