Money makin Mitch had money for 10,000 dollar paper bag basketball games, he never wore the same outfit twice and the most important thing....having the new BMW and Benz before the white man did but when his brother was kidnapped couldn't come up with the money to help him out. shareYou have to realize that they were all basically kids (teens to early 20's). What do kids do when you give them money? Do they open up a bank account? No. They go and spend that money on shoes, clothes and toys (cars). It seemed like as soon as they got the money, they spent it. Yes, to a responsible adult it seems foolish for someone to risk their life selling dope to become a kingpin and drive the latest model BMWs yet still live in the projects with his mother, with nothing of any real monetary value to show for it and no money stashed away for emergencies. Also, I doubt if Rich ever imagined that something like that would have happened, especially to his baby brother, who had nothing to do with any of it.

That was their downfall as well as so many other pushers. They have a ton of money but no discipline. Living in the moment. All that matter to Mitch was looking good, being noticedand material objects but ignored (or at least paid less attention to) family - mom, brother, clearly uncle.
