I used to say back and forth when my mom asked me, I said his lil brother. She said son and her friend said son

And yes I know Rich Porter, that was his lil brother that got killed

But as far as the movie goes it did at times seem like that was his son. The last car seen with Ace and the continuously callin him his lil man. I cant go off Ice because whether they're brothers or father/son, Ice is still their uncle. Nobody calls their great uncle, great uncle. Maybe I miss something every time I see it. I watched it earlier today

Besides, when would Mitch have had him? When he was 10?

At first I thought it was his son, but later in the movie it's made more clear that he was his brother.

I think they could've made it bit more clear but i too thought it was his brother - because when his mom was distraught about his kidnapping you get the sense that its her child thats been taken.
