When Toula went to Greek school at the beginning what was written on the board, and how come the kids weren't seperated into different age groups, when I went to my religious classes after i went to private school we were but that's just me
oh yeah maybe im just being nitpicky here but if toula's parents were so proud of being greek then why did they send the kids to public school instead of a greek orthodox school? just wondering.

sharethe greek school is not "school" ....they show her going to public school in the movie. Greek school is special classes after school or on Saturdays for Greek kids born in this country to learn the language and culture of Greece. They have classes like that at a Greek Orthodox church in my town, when they have the yearly Greek festival there are displays of things the kids do in the classes.
