A Very Good Film About A Large Family Life
I really enjoyed it. The type of movie that's really pleasing to watch. I noticed familiar scenes of Danforth Avenue. That was my favorite area in Toronto! When I used to live in that city, I always enjoyed going to Danforth to escape the hustle and bustle of the downtown core. I enjoyed walking across that long high bridge to get to it. The view from there was so nice.
My favorite moments from the film were the pranks played on Toula's boyfriend by her brothers: teaching him Greek words that actually turn out to mean something dirty.
When My Big Fat Greek Life came out later on, I meant to sit down and watch it sometime, but it went off the air before I had the chance. I heard it was very bad which is why it lasted only a few episodes.
The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.
