Even though My Big Fat Greek Life was the sequel to the movie which was awful. However that show seemed to have had continuity errors since the name of Toula was changed to Nia and Ian became Thomas. There was also no mention of their daughter as well. However I wonder why is that there wasn't an actual movie sequel instead that showed Ian and Toula a few years later.

But, I just read an interview today with Nia Vardalos (she has a new book coming out) in which she said that she actually spent an evening with John Corbett, just hanging out and after he left she basically came up with a whole idea for a sequel, so maybe that will be in the works soon!
shareI would love to see a sequel to the movie!!! I'd be first in line at the box office! I was excited when the TV comedy came out, and then very disappointed. I, too, asked where the child was, why the name changes, why couldn't John Corbett have been in the show. Perhaps a true sequel to MBFGW would be a smash! Nia has a new book? I'll look for it right now!
