This is my Hell.
I watched this for the first time this past weekend. I'm not down-playing the merit of the film - it's well-done and I can certainly see why so many people would like it - but I dang near had a panic attack. I mean... that family is my Hell.
If you've ever been in a relationship with someone where their family is super into their culture to a fault like that, this thing will bring back that oppressing feeling of "Oh God, why am I doing this?" I dated an Italian girl for a few years and the family wasn't far off from this. Yikes. Bullet = dodged.
So yeah, kudos to those who enjoyed this, but I couldn't wait for the movie to be done.
