I love the scene with Tula and her mother and grandmother! No need for words. The blessing of three generations together!
shareI liked it as well, because it humanized the grandmother. Before she was just a crazy old woman who climbed onto other people's roofs. It shows she was once in love and had a family of her own.
shareIt's nice to think so, but Grandma wasn't necessarily in love with the man she married. For her generation, arranged marriages were still the norm.
