Not necessarily, but it does make sense what you're saying. My husband has had the same hair style ever since I've known him. We've been married 6 years and together a total of 10. His hair style hasn't changed a bit other than getting it trimmed.

I knew a couple where the man had beautiful long, long hair and his fiance told him he had to get it cut for the wedding. He cuts his hair and the marriage doesn't last 2 years. It was such beautiful hair.

You would have thought they'd have had more than one child in six years, especially after Toula became pregnant "a minute later"!

Not necessarily.
There could be dozens of reasons as to why they only had the one.
I think the biggest one might be that they only wanted the one. She was already overwhelmed with the amount of family she had so having one child could be something she wanted and was comfortable with. (She also had a long history of being the oddball in her family so it suits her that she didn't have a dozen kids).

It's consistent with the fact that Greeks don't breed anymore (in Greece, don't know about the diaspora). Only children are the norm in Greece these days.
