French version of this movie questions [ spoilers ]
In the French version of this movie, at wedding reception the voice over for Ian Miller says in French, "Non cest pas vrai...Ils nous ont offert une maison!
In English this means: "No it's not true...they offered us a house!".
Offering a house is not the same as buying one.
But the DVD French caption writes the parents bought the house.
However, I see the English version has Ian Miller speaking that "They bought us a house". And the English caption agrees.
At the end when it shows Toola and her daughter Paris six years later, the French version voice over narrates that they installed themselves in the house that her parents bought them. But the French caption of the DVD writes the parents "offered" the house!
I hope I don't sound picky. It's just I'd like to see things consistent in any language so that there's no confusion. Why? Well because I would much prefer have them buy a house than just offer one - this portion movie is much more enjoyable this way. And especially because in one of the episode of My Big Fat Greek Life (TV Series), I see Gus buying them a house all over again!
