I didn't laugh once
This whole movie is just a series of cringe-worthy over-inflated stereotypes that made me roll my eyes rather than laugh. It was the worst ethnica movie i've ever seen in my life.

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...share
I thought this movie was hysterical, perhaps because I come from an Italian family and it reminded me so much of them. I wind up seeing this movie four times in a month. First time I've ever paid to see a movie in the theater more than once.
shareThat's why it was popular among many different ethnic cultures.
Yes, it was a Greek family, but Italians, Jews, Germans, Turks, Hispanics, Middle Eastern etc...they could all relate because of strong ethnic upbringing, especially with the older generations.
Also with Filipinos! I agree ethnic families could relate...I have 20 first cousins and we are all loud! We have strange food and I've been chased around with a fish or big eye, lol
shareI thought it was hilarious! Maybe because my Greek family is a lot like this. Just made me think on more than one occasion throughout the movie that they must have been inspired by my family to make this movie!Even had the Greek restaurant growing up!!
