Where can I get a copy of this movie?

I want to see this movie really bad. I mean, the talent in this movie is so great, that this movie should be great on its own. (Vincent Cassel, Paul Bettany, Tom Hardy & Willem DaFoe) I know its supposed to be released in the states in September, but I don't want to wait. Concidering that this movie has been out in the UK for at least 2 years, it has to be available for purchase somewhere. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

As a UK resident I can assure you that it hasn't.

According to Greg's Previews [over at Yahoo!], The Reckoning's theatrical release date was changed from 2002 to 2003 and now, possibly, to May 2004. This is why you can't find the DVD or VHS yet.

I'm looking forward to it as well. Medieval Mystery Plays mixed with murder and Willem Dafoe just sounds too cool. :-)

Same here, I just rented it (Belgium - EU).. gonna watch it tonight... I've been looking forward to this movie very much. It hasn't been in any theatre, so I'm guessing it went straight to dvd/video.

Hi !
I rented this movie today in Norway. Usually we get blockbuster and other films 6 months later than everybody else.
I rented this movie because I really really like Paul Bettany. And he is not letting anyone down in this movie either.

I would give this movie an 8, but I can`t vote :(

it's available for rent in Sweden as well, and i suppose all throughout Scandinavia...probably other European countries as well. it's a brilliant piece of cinema: do anything you have to do to get your hands on it.

WHAT? It's out in Norway now? OK, that does it. I'm going to the video store tomorrow.

I've been waiting for this for a year or two, and now it is already out on DVD without me even knowing. I've obviously got to keep a closer eye on the release lists.

Edit: It's been out since July? I don't believe this.

You can download a copy of this movie from www.sharereactor.com in the DVD-rips section. You will need at least a cable or DSL link though as its a 700MB XviD file (XviD is similar to DivX, you'll need an XviD codec if you haven't got one - its readily available on the net and there's plenty of information about it out there if you're not sure what it is).

You'll also need a peice of software to download it called emule, details about what this does can be found on Sharereactor. You can get the latest version of emule from the homepage www.emule-project.net

Can also be downloaded via bittorrent at www.suprnova.org. Must have cable/dsl and bittorrent software (freely available use google search). 700MB download as an Xvid (.avi) file type.

(PS. I can assure you it has not been released in UK yet)

Just saw a copy on this for $7.00 (current bid) on ebay (shipping from CA, DVD). Once ebay has it, everyone seems to.
