The Reckoning: the Bad Concluded
The film makes the girl's father more blase, or, at least, less caring about her arrest and possible execution, then the book.
What happens when the villain is punished in the book is different then in the film, but what works in the book, would most likely not work in the film, even though what happens in the book, makes more sense, then what happens in the film.
The ending in the book works better, then the ending in the film.
