He definitely played the character very well. I really liked how he wasn't a typical gangster like you see in a lot of other mob movies. It was neat how he was portrayed as a decent family man, but everyone knew not to mess with him.

His performance in this movie is easily one of his most underrated performances to this day, if not the most.
