Dont care what anyone say's. He would of shined in this film, Sly is very capable given the right material to act. And Chris Walken as the hitman tracking him.

reply

Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born in Concord, California, to Janet Marylyn (Frager), a hospital worker, and Amos Mefford Hanks, an itinerant cook. His father had English, and some German, ancestry, while his mother's family, originally surnamed "Fraga", was entirely Portuguese.

NOT REALLY NO IRISH THERE..

Looks about American as Sly , so go FFFFK YOURSELF.

reply

sly can't pass for irish but hanks can. I al sus thought sly should have done more period/mob movies. He has the look but I guess he didn't want roles he was typecast for when he was young.
He wouldn't have been right for the lead, but it would have been great to see him as Finn McGovern or another small part. He should really do a quiet, aged hitman movie set in the 40s.

reply

Hmmmm... Maybe. Stallone was very good in Copland so I can see where you're coming from.

reply

He did play a hitman before. In that movie with Antonia Banderas....Assassins I believe it was called.
