They build up Rosemary's true appearance and then she's just maybe 300 lb if even. That's definitely obese but I was thinking she could be even worse, like an episode of My 600 lb-Life where they're bed-ridden and in dire condition. Then Hal works with her because of her inner beauty to gradually lose that weight over some time. Instead she looks like the average church mom from Houston. Not that crazy and not crazy enough for everyone to hate her and ridicule her everywhere she goes. Her size wouldn't make the average American bat an eye nowadays.

I agree. Her heart should have exploded the first time they had sex from cheese burger filled arteries and when her body was wheeled out the camera would reveal a 600+ pound land whale.

I like the idea of the sex scene going wrong because of Rosemary's weight, but Hal can't wrap his head around it and thinks it's because she's secretly unattracted to him.

You obviously weren't around for the early 2000's because back then a "300" pound woman was considered enormous.

Back then most plus sizes began at "14". Now size 14 is sold in regular stores and is not considered really even a plus size.

You obviously don't know how slim most women and men used to be. Now with Ozempic were going back to that but artificially.
