HUGE plothole...

hal's boss didnt look handsome when he saw him...yet leeboy and his friend did...

reply

He would have already seen his boss before the spell, so he knew what he looked like, hence, no plot-hole.

Also, Hal did not see her father as a potential threat to their relationship, the way he saw Ralph.

reply

Besides - he was handsome! ;)

reply

I think with Steve Shanahan, Mauricio, Jill, and Ralph, who they were inside and what they looked like matched exactly. Hence no perception alteration in Hal's eyes.

That's not the reason. Tony's spell clearly stated "when meeting someone for the first time..." It only applied to people Hal hadn't previously met face-to-face.

Yup. Thats also the only way it would work. Otherwise he wouldn't recognize people he needed to and his life would be phvked.

Hal had mentioned, when Rosemary first tells him her last name, that he had seen his boss many times before in the building; he just didn't know that the boss's daughter would turn out to be Rosemary.
