not as pretty as the hypnotized version, but not ugly.

The point wasn't for her to be physically ugly, but to be ugly compared to what Hal considered beautiful or attractive.

I liked her personality best. I didn't really care much for Rose's. I wonder why he never called her.

Agreed. I totally would have given the "ugly" Katrina a call, dorky laugh and all. :)

Yeah she was a stunner. Seemed pretty nice too. I wonder if that stuff happens in real life. Chatting up a woman and sharing a taxi?

I saw this movie when I was 11 (when it was released) and thought exactly the same thing. She was just unkempt and not as glamorous as her other version, but she was not ugly.

It sure was. Just a silly prosthetic nose, fake teeth and some grease in the hair were added.
