I dont really get it. I have read multiple posts on it, but i really don't see the similarities between the two movies. Can anyone enlighten me with the similarities they think take place?
And i would like to say, this is one of my favorite Star Trek movies.
I would call it more inspired by Nicholas Myer's work on STAR TREK as a whole rather than just WRATH OF KHAN. I would say there is also a some influence from UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY as well. I dont' think it's a complete clone of any other STAR TREK films, but I do think there's some similarities. When it comes to WRATH OF KHAN there is a similar skeleton between the storylines of Khan and Shinzon, but they are fleshed out differently.
