Proton Torpedoes

What happened to the Quantum Torpedoes they used in previous ST movies? If memory serves, they were supposed to "pack more of a punch" than proton torpedoes.

Only X-Wings and Y-Wings are equipped with Proton Torpedos.

not to mention B-Wings and the Naboo N-1 starfighters. A lot of ships had proton torpedoes. They seem to be firing quantum torpedoes, though, as they are blue and photon torpedoes are red?, yet they call them photon torpedoes.

Budget cuts.

First they got rid of the Quantum torpedos. Then they bought a bunch of torpedos at george Lucas' garage sale.

I'm trying to get in the habit of prooofreading.

Stolen plans were in the memory banks of B4. That's why they had to find him on the desert planet.

No its a good thing that the Jawas didn't get to B4 before Picard Data and Worf did.

Yeah, but how did Picard know that the Scimitar was ray shielded?

Because com scan showed that the hyderdrive motivator was malfunctioning...

If I were Picard I would've had ALL torpedoes replaced with Q's.

If I remember correctly they used them when Troi found the ship together with Worf with her voodoo magic.

PHOTON torpedoes. They did and that is how they were able to cause as much damage to the Scimitar as they did when Troi used the Viceroy to see through the cloak.

But what I found stupid is that the Enterprise had already exhausted its compliment of photon torpedoes and phaser power is down to 4%. And this ship is more of a combat ship than its predecessor that had a compliment of 250 photon torpedoes.

Ummm OP were you watching the movie??? They did use Quantum Torpedoes as well as Photon Torpedoes...
