i just started viewing the American Pie films, and love the first three, but hate the direct to video spin offs! can we please get a REAL American Pie 4? You know, one that has Jim, Stifler, Oz, etc. in it?

sharei heard that the makers of harold and kumar are making a real american pie 4. all the main characters return but the story probably isnt about them, and chances are they just make cameo appearances. im sure chris klein wont be in that though since he wasnt in american pie 3. he was the weakest of all the characters anyway
shareDisagreed, I thought Kevin was the most irrelevant of the four lads from the first film in the sequel, and his role in American Wedding was even more redundant. I can see why Chris Klein wouldn't have wanted to do number 3 because it was focused almost entirely on Jim, Stifler and Finch.
shareAgreed. Kevin's role in the sequel (as well as Tara Reid's) was borderline pointless, at least stacked up against the other character's storylines. He was just there because he was in the first film.
If my memory serves me right, judging on the deleted scenes, their subplot was a lot more robust and what footage did make it in was mostly relegated to a montage.

i think that american pie 4 was alright (technically stiflers brother was one of the original characters and the sherminator is there) but naked mile was really bad. i havnt seen any of the ones after that.
