This little movie was delightful.

Kind of reminds me of the old classic movies.
Maybe those who dis it are just used to violence, murder and mayhem and graphic sex to keep their attention.

I like watching wholesome movies too but this one felt formulaic and preachy. A much better movie with a similar plot was Ever After.

Yes, this movie was pleasantly entertaining and did have the feel of the old Audrey Hepburn movies. But for me, J-Lo was completely unconvincing as a maid. She is too much of a bitchy diva in real life for me to imagine her as a maid.

I loved Ralph Fiennes' character in this movie. I mean he was not intense or scary for once! Loved this movie just for that. Loved J-Lo here as well. Overall, enjoyed this movie a lot!

Exactly! This film is very much in the same vein as the old Doris Day and Sandra Dee movies. Especially the Doris Day movie THAT TOUCH OF MINK (1962).

I agree, but I also think it made good use of the Pretty Woman template, with a single mum maid the focus, rather than a hooker with a heart of gold.🐭

There are more choices than cloying, predictable drivel OR violence and gore. There are literally thousands of other movies.

Its a modern Cinderella story...the Koreans make a lot of these they tend to have something extra about them their usually very very good and is just as good
