Chicago Locations??
I noticed that Chicago is listed as one of the filming locations of the film. Anybody know where in Chicago it was filmed, and how prominent is Chicago in the film?

Well, they pretty much botched my daily commute for weeks on end between this one and Weatherman. The Chicago River and the area around the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive (both upper and lower)were filming sites that were heavily used. It's kind of interesting to see snow and ice floating on the river when it's May/June and upward of 80 degrees outside.... the crew had huge ice chipper machines to make the snowdrifts.

Along the same lines of this topic, is it me or does the house shown in the TV ads bear a remarkable resemblance, both inside and out, to the house used in the first 2 Home Alone movies? But that house was supposedly somewhere in Chicago's northern suburbs.
shareThat house is located in Winnetka (it is located literally down the block from where one of my relatives lived at the time). The house was also used in Planes, Trains, & Automobiles. As for the house in the TV ads, I haven't looked close enough to tell.
