Saw it...it's quite funny...shame about the release date :(

WEll I saw Surviving Christmas today, and I have to admit, I enjoyed it quite a bit and found quite a few laughs, despite the uncertain tone of the movie and the performances (at times it seemed the actors were playing serious, at times it seemed like they were all odd incarnations of say, the typical Ben Stiller character in many of his recent comedies)...

This really should have been released a month or two later.

"shakespeare in love?" . . i dunno, but i thought this movie sucked . . and it had good people in it too! i love catherine o'hara . . she's hilarious . . too bad . . .

YEah shame about it being released way before Halloween where theatre goers are more wanting to see a good horror movie, reasons contributing to the success of the Grudge and Saw recently. If only it actually was kept in theatres through november then maybe its box office may pick up and it still could be a hit as it would have being released in late november or December instead of october. I enjoyed it actually and its in no way a horrible movie and could have had a decent box office outing. Hasnt even made 8 million yet. Hopefulyl maybe if its around a few more weeks when time comes for X mas movie goers will buy tickets and things will look up.
