I walked away from this film rather disappointed.

The film was not at all bad, though. I found that the main problem was its advertising. Based on the previews, I expexted to see a lot of physical comedy, and there wasn't much.

There was one scene that was absolutelly hillarious. It was the scene it the kitchen after Affleck's and Applegate's characters made out. I don't want to spoil the scene for those who did not see the film yet, so I won't say much more.

I would give this film a 6/10. It's all right. If you're torn between this and Shark Tale, see this.

I agree with you. The movie is funny, though it's not the best comedy ever. But, for me, the funniest scenes are the ones with James Gandolfini. He's hilarious!

THIS MOVIE IS ALREADY GONNA BE FOR SALE THIS WEEK, THATS A FASTER TURN AROUND THEN GIGLI AND that american idol movie not even two full months.

I agree with kosovo. It was a stupid movie. But if you suspended reality for 90 minutes and just sat back and realized this movie is stupid going into it, then you won't be disappointed. And if you watch it around 4:20, it's even better. :-p

I think it was UNBELIEVABLY bad...it was boring, not funny and the story sucked. That's my opinion. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This film was heartwelming.....not that funny......i was hoping for more funny scenes....but all in all...this was a good movie!

I went in thinking this was going to be the most god awful movie ever after hearing all the bad press about it. I think since I went in with such low expectations that was the reason I actually enjoyed the movie. I also saw Elf recently and went into that movie with high expectations and walked away disappointed. Now I'm not saying this movie was better then Elf, it's not even close. My point is that I walked away from this movie pleastly surprised while with Elf I was disappointed.

you were dissapointed with elf? that's pretty gay. i mean, surviving christmas wasn't THAT great, but to go in and say elf was dissapointing? now i know you don't know anything lol

Yeah, I didn't think it was that bad either. It just got pretty corny.
