in the movies connections link it has this as a spin off from Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. how is that?

It reminded me more of "What About Bob?" An uninvited guest who won't leave, to annoyance the head of the family. Although in "Christmas," all the family wants Drew gone, whereas in "Bob" only Richard Dreyfuss's character seems eager for Bob to leave. The wife and kids are more sympathetic toward him. The first time I watched this movie I though of that one (I had not yet seen "Dickie Roberts"). I watched "Surviving Christmas" again last weekend on TBS and this thought came to my mind again.
