I thought it was sweet of Drew to re-create Alicia's childhood memory for her. I don't understand why she got angry at him for it. What do you all think?

She was mad because he missed the point.
At first she seemed touched that he had recreated the tree that she described.
But then he threw in a lot of expensive, tacky extras. So it was no longer the simple scene that had appealed to her, and so he didnt "get" her; he just believed in using his money to show off.
Because he then added the carolers and the nativity scene for example. It was no longer a sweet little memory anymore. He went a bit overboard.
