in this particular film we have a couple who spent a total of less than two weeks together, and of that only a single day or so during which they were being genuine with one-another (at Staten Island). On the basis of this they are genuinely in love?

It's a stretch.

FCOL, Take a leap of faith, sit back and enjoy it. If I had that mindset for films, I’d never watch Star Wars films or Harry Potter or any of the Marvel films. I don’t watch Marvel in any case, but just making a point.. I miss these fun, easy breezy, don’t look too close, don’t expect too much, romcom flics. They don’t make them anymore which is a shame. Probably because everyone got so cynical and jaded and snarky.

Yeah, that was a little bit ridiculous.

Not to mention that he knew her mostly as crazy, obsessive, needy lunatic. But I cant blame her. He was super hot, sensitive, nice... She would easily fall for that guy.
