Elle's hair color
In the very beginning Elle is seen getting ready. What is the brand name and hair color name on her table/vanity? Is it Loreal something? It's hard to make out what it is.

shareI forgot about that part actually. I think they actually made a mistake, wasn't Elle supposed to be a natural blonde?

And I think that product is used to enhance blonde hair. It won't make dark hair blonde. So maybe it was there to confirm that she was a natural blonde who just enhanced her highlights a bit.
shareAgreed and her hair was losing the highlight by the end of the movie which kind of went with her having changed and was taking life more seriously.

Maybe for the reason that I thought she was losing the dye to her natural hair.
shareI think the wig was used because Reese had gone to a shorter style and then the director decided to do a graduation scene. Elle would have never short hair so that was the solution. She wore extensions in the sequel because she still had the short 'do.
shareA lot of natural blondes will get hi-lights or darker blondes will go all over lighter.
