After watching this movie for probably the 20th time. I just realized Brooke's alibi was that she was getting lipo the day he was murdered. And it needed to be kept secret. However getting lipo takes a couple of weeks recovery. Drains, stitches, and a mix of pain killers and anesthesia means someone must help u get from the doctor to your bed. Ugh the things u realize when you've seen a movie way too many times lol

Another goof i noticed after having watched this movie 124 times, when Elle is at Harvard outside in the grass with the law group...

i counted 6 people in the wide shot , the guy who was introducing everyone, the fat guy , the lesbian, a unibrow bald guy, the blonde hippie and Elle.

But on the close ups while introducing themselves the bald unibrow guy is gone
and you see only 5.
