I love all the Elle Woods movies because she is one of the kindest characters in the movies! This makes her the perfect role model for young girls! There are so many mean girl characters in media, and I worry about young people emulating them. I watch these movies every chance I get to, to see her kindness!! I'm hoping my eight year old granddaughter will discover these movies one day, and want to be just like Elle!!!
shareShe was a very appealing character because she was hard-working and very kind to everyone. But she still would stand up for herself (well, in terms of Warner, she had to learn a thing or two about self-respect), like when Vivian was bullying her. But yes, even when I first saw the movie that was what stood out to me about her character - how present-minded and kind she was.
shareI completely agree with you. Elle was a lovely person, kind to everyone. It was difficult to watch the other students ridicule and reject her, but that was also tellin: when insulted Elle acted with grace and moved on without letting it hurt her self esteem in the least.She was very grounded and that is also a good lesson for youg girls as they grow up. The only time she was truly hurt was when heer ex-boyfriend said she wasn't smart, and Ellle reaoized she would never be good enought for him. But once again, she prevailed by channeling her hurt into a drive for success.
