Just finished watching it....

I loved Welcome To The Dollhouse, and Happiness defently hit emotions of unfomfortable standards. But this film really didn't have a point what so ever.... It was quite boaring, the characters were dull, the music (when there was some in it) was dry and non effective. Serious emotional things happen in this film... Rape, Murder, Children Murder, etc.... And it doesnt even phase you cause your already so bored and don't give a *beep* about the characters because their so dull. I mean the only character u really care about is the little kid... And u only feel anger for him, i wanted the little *beep* to die sooo bad, and im glad he did in the end, and him hypnotising his dad??? WTF WAS THAT! The film had no plot what so ever, it was such a DRY film, atleast Happiness was a film about relationships and real life problems that alot of filmmakers are scared to go into, and Welcome to the dollhouse is a coming of age story about young people.... I get what he was trying to do with this film, but he was trying to follow in the footsteps of American Beauty... WAY TOO MUCH... Plus American Beauty is a far better film...
