Connection question between two stories...Jesus?

I know it's a strectch, but in one scene consuelo refers to the person she lost as "Jesus", possibly her husband...I might have missed something, but could "Jesus" be the black teacher from the beginning? Maybe the story happened farther into the future and he was later committed on a charge of rape/murder. Anyway, just a thought, don't know if it was mentioned.

Jesus was her grandson. She tells Scooby's brother that. And I don't think there's a connection. I'm sorry, but I think you're grasping at straws here.

wait a second, i think he has a point. cuz i was peeing at my tattoo parlour's shop and they had religious paintings everywhere, and one painting showed Jesus Christ, but as a black man.
