just like my college creative writing course

Loved the writing class writing and reviews. Just like my college creative writing course (and frshman English). We were supposed to be writing fiction but it was all autobiographical for me, or at least there was plenty. Both the guy with CP and Selma's writing were non-fiction yet the class assumed it was fiction. What pretentiousness college students spew. We did it too, trying so hard to be intelligent but really missing the forest for the trees.

In my freshman English class our TA wrote a poem about *beep* himself senseless on Sunday afternoons", I swear to god. I wrote of sex with my girlfriend in my Creative Writing class, which I guess was Sr year. That was 30 years ago.

Was this like anyone else's college writing classes? Everyone's?
