Big fan of John Goodman here. I'm considering buying this movie, but I'd like to know how big of a role does John have in it? How long is he on screen?

I don't recommend buying the movie just for Goodman's role. Although he's onscreen for a considerable amount of time, he is in no way the hero. He plays the father of my favorite character, the protagonist for the second section of the film.

Thanks for replying, I appreciate it. I'll probably try to see if I can rent it somewhere first, sounds like a good movie anyway.
