Was Kitty Farmer supposed to be an unlikable character?
I didn't like her because she was very snotty towards her students, plus she reminded me very much of her character in Child's Play 2.

Yeah, that's her type-caste. She does really great in those roles.
I feel she wanted the best for her students, but wasn't able to, so she glorified and supported a Pidepiper to the student body. She and the school administration were weak and didn't understand their students, so much so, that they unwittingly introduced a child predator to the kids.
