Why such bad reviews?

5.1 is bad. Why is this movie so bad? I love it, it's thrilling, scary, and even funny. Give me reasons why its bad!

it's subjective. I thought it was lousy because I was bored.

I think they missed a fantastic opportunity to really use the ghosts and their backgrounds to create a stronger story.

Could be Shannon Elizabeth's awful plastic acting. "We've struck Goolllddddd." I like the movie over all, but hearing her delivery on some of her lines was almost painful.

I really liked this movie. It's not grade A material, but for a horror movie I thought it was very unique and engrossing. The set design was awesome and the ghosts were pretty darned scary.

I guess they should've done a quick spiel on all their origins.
