Better Not Knowing The Ghosts' History

I'm watching this again and just now saw the ghosts history.

Anyone else think it was better not knowing the history of the ghosts?

It really left a lot to the imagination.

Obviously the Jackal was a lunatic from an asylum, but I would have had no clue where to go with the Juggernaut.

I would have deduced the majority were from the colonial era.

I wouldn't have a clue with a few of them. I always thought The Great Child was fed to death by the Dire mother, he then rolled over and crushed her to death

They were all about twentieth century originated.
