The Ghosts and Tony Shaloub keep me coming back

I have always liked this movie. Saw it the day it came out in the theater and have had a soft spot for it. Its not great by any means, but I can watch it every time its on tv.

The 13 Ghosts are very well done, especially the Jackal, the Hammer, the Juggernaut, and the Angry Princess. The ghost smashing the glass with his baseball bat is pretty cool. Great effects every time he smashes the glass.

Tony Shaloub is one of my favorite actors. Love "Monk," and all the other stuff he has been in.

This movie must have a following, because its still always on tv even 13 years later now.

It's definitely not great but it's entertaining enough. As you say, the effects are cool and I like the premise. It's fun to watch now and then which is more than I can say for a lot of movies.
