It was not a 9/10, neither is it 5/10 . . .
. . . it definetly deserves somewhere between 7 and 8.

Enough good actors to have done something better---all of the work is competent but you get the feeling that a re-write or different direction could have elevated it. To me it felt somewhat constricted and superficial.
However, I did enjoy it. And I agree with your take on it.
