I think that this is one of the best yet.
It was a great mix of suspense, comedy and intrigue.
The bit about the A-team and the Jefferson('s) was very funny.
The Jimminy Cricket guy was interesting, funny, strange and serious all in the same character. I didn't understand the Roach Clinic joke after he was released.
The Yves and Jimmy dialogue at the prison was funny. "What I really missed was your ...."
Yves was really showing what she's got.
I thought that the writers were going to go for the 'happily ever after' ending but I was glad to see that they when for the serious and sobering ending.
I'll give this one a 9 and hope there are some others like it.

I thought this was one of the best episodes thus far. I liked the fact that Pfeiffer was actually guilty which twisted to saving someone one else who was actually innocent. I thought the Elvis start was very amusing...."I'm starting think that Elvis may actually be dead."
Yves was rocking that outfit, very cute, good rack, not quite as attractive on Lost. The lawyer would have been ok, but like a lot of us he had to over think things, if he had stuck to his plan he would have been money. Lots of poetic justice in this one.
All in all the best one yet, I give this one a 9 on the TLG scale.

Sorry I'm late ... just been VERY busy these last couple of weeks.

I enjoyed this episode very much. The idea that they'd get themselves taken to prison is so crazy and implausible, but it was handled well. And why not have those computerized pads? UPS does it. Corrections officers were just making a different kind of delivery.

Loved how the guy they meant to save really was guilty and got executed. Sorry, but that's justice. At least he turned on the lawyer before then, and he got his just desserts too.

The black inmate reminded me of "Shawshank Redemption" - a slightly nutty guy with some spiritual ideas behind that. The "roach clinic" to help out roach-kind was cute, if a little disgusting.

Only one part of this episode really irked me: When the lawyer leaves the hotel, and 2 second later they're talking about how guilty he is - as the guy is listening outside. Hello, the Gunmen are paranoid freaks! Should they not have made sure that guy was in his car before spilling what they know?

I can't recall the "A-Team" episode in question (is there one or was this just a joke?), but I'm betting "Gunman" did it better. They offered a pretty realistic look at being in prison, especially the searching/delousing/etc. at the start.

Hit rock bottom on this one. This one reminds me of a Night Gallery episode weak at best. The notebook computer device the guard had was quite intersting but I don't think the quards would be issued one. The part I enjoyed the most was even the vending machine was in a cage (prison). Was it convicted of not dispensing the product correctly or for not given the correct change back. Have the writers given up on the show? Let's all hope they get a little better still a few more to go. The best I can do on this one is a three on the Gun Men Scale.

too many years we are running out of steam. could it be over after the TT, K, NG, Vgers, LG.

Well it looks like we may be winding down. At least we will go out on a decent show. It has actually lasted longer than I ever thought it would when we started the time tunnel...we'll see we may get some more people.

Hey, don't be giving up already! This is an insane time of year for me, so I don't have much time to breathe, but I've been lurking occasionally. I may be able to make it back for the next "new, fantastic adventure".

Do you know that they cleared the Time Tunnel, Kolchak and Night Gallery boards, wiping out all trace of our brilliance? I think there's a plot here.

reply

I did not know they wiped all that stuff out.....not very nice of old imdb. Critics must have felt threatened by our spot on reviews and our fantastic insight on the realm of television.
