bobby deserve to die?

I know Nick Stahls character in this movie was unsympathetic and a bully to the other characters, but I dont feel he deserved to die, the movie in my opinion was ambigious on whether the character deserved what happened to him, many friendships are similiar to the one between marty and bobby, that doesnt justify bobbies behaviour but marty would have been better off disassociating himself from bobby if he annoyed him that much.

I find Bobby death scene incredibly disturbing

No, Bobby didn't deserve to die. He might have been a bully,but they allowed him to bully them by continuing to be friends with him after he treated them like crap. However they continue to hang around Bobby and allow him to mistreat them to get drugs. None of them seem to have had a job,yet they was always getting wasted. So Bobby was likely supplying the drugs and would make them do stuff in order to get drugs. None of them told their parents,teachers or the police about what Bobby was doing to them. So how exactly did they try to stop Bobby's bullying?
None of them stop hanging around Bobby. I mean if Marty really wanted to stop hanging around Bobby. He could have. He could have not go over his house,not answer the phone and not answer the door when Bobby came by.
Marty girlfriend could have commanded that he come around without Bobby.

I think they were in debt to Bobby for drugs,and that's why they killed him.
